Wacom's Latest Sensor System Comes to Life on the Latest HP Compaq 2710p Notebook PC, the functionality of an ultra-light and the flexibility of an ultra-slim

Wacom's latest sensor system, the Penabled “G5” technology is deployed on HP's Compaq 2710p Notebook PC, which is now available in Japan. The “2710p” Notebook PC is a mobile-note PC with Tablet PC functionality. “2710p” is designed to be lighter and smaller than the previous model of the same category. It weighs 390g (1.69kg) less and is 6mm thinner (28.2mm thinnest part). Wacom's “G5” technology, designed for tablet PCs, is capable of 50% more EMR sensor signal output as compared to its predecessors. The lightness and thinness of the “2710p” is attributed to the “G5” being thinner and lighter by 50%.
