Wacom's Latest Pen and Touch Sensor System Comes to Life on FMV-T8140, the World's Lightest A4-Size Convertible Tablet PC by Fujitsu

Wacom's latest pen and touch sensor system, the Penabled “G5” technology is employed on Fujitsu's FMV-T8140, a convertible tablet PC for corporate users released on June 25. FMV-T8140 is the world's lightest, A-4 size convertible tablet PC with a 12.1-inch screen weighing approximately 1.49kg. Wacom's “G5” technology features 50% more EMR sensor signal output, designed for tablet PCs, compared to its predecessors. Being thinner and lighter by 50%, the “G5” enabled the realisation of the lightness and thinness of FMV-T8140.

FMV-T8140 has ultra portable features such as its 33mm thickness that can withstand a total surface compression of 200kgf and a battery life of up to 11.3 hours.
